What Are the Car Sensors?

There are many sensors on the car, and the car also works with the help of the sensor. The sensor detects the signal, and the feedback is sent to the car computer, and the corresponding component is controlled by the computer. If the sensor is damaged, the corresponding components cannot work normally, and the car cannot be used normally.

Ⅰ. Introduction of auto sensors

There are many auto sensors, which can be divided into two categories: environmental protection monitoring and vehicle body cognition: environmental protection monitoring sensors are used to detect and recognize the surrounding environment, which is a necessary sensor to complete unmanned driving; vehicle body cognitive sensors are used to obtain vehicle body information content, such as tire pressure, air pressure, speed per hour, etc., are essential sensors to keep the car running normally, smoothly and safely.

The key sensors are: total gas flow sensor, ABS sensor, throttle position sensor, temperature sensor, engine camshaft position sensor, engine crankshaft position sensor, speed sensor, engine knock sensor and oxygen sensor, etc.

Ⅱ. Basic principles and applications of auto sensors

1. Total gas flow sensor

The total gas flow sensor accurately measures the amount of gas inhaled by the car engine, and converts it into an electrical signal to the ECU as a standard signal for the oil pump time.

2. ABS sensor

The ABS sensor is generally installed near the rolling bearing of the tire, on the outside of the hub bearing, in the inner hole of the brake pad, and is used to monitor the speed per hour. When braking suddenly, the information on the number of revolutions of the tire is fed back to the braking system, and the braking system controls the tire. Limited rotation for best brake pedal effect.

3. Throttle position sensor

The throttle position sensor is installed on the throttle valve to check the opening degree of the throttle valve. According to the linkage with the throttle valve according to the lever structure, the working voltage signal of the angle of view of the throttle valve opening is accurately measured, and the signal is sent to the ECU as the ignition advance angle and ignition. Standard signal for advance angle adjustment.

4. Engine camshaft position sensor

Give the engine crankshaft corner standard position signal as the main control signal for electric engine oil pump engine timing control and ignition timing control.

5. Engine crankshaft position sensor

Check the bottom dead center signal, engine crankshaft angle signal and vehicle speed signal, and give the ECU a standard signal to determine the ignition timing, oil pump timing and working sequence.

6. Speed sensor

Check the speed of the car, and give the speed signal to the ECU for constant speed cruise control and speed limit flameout control, and it is also the main control signal of the automatic transmission.

7. Engine knock sensor

Check the vibration condition of the engine oil pan for the electronic controller to identify the engine knock condition. When the engine knocks, the vibration of the car engine is transmitted to the crystal according to the mass in the car sensor. Due to the working pressure caused by the vibration of the mass block, the piezoelectric crystal generates a working voltage on the two pole surfaces, and converts the vibration into a working voltage signal output.
